GWANGJU BIENNALE2018 IMAGINED BORDERS

       I went to GWANGJU BIENNALE2018 Exhibition.And i saw many great works.First day we went to the exhibition which theme is “imagined borders”.This exhibition explores the intersection of modernism,architecture and nation-building in the 1950s-70s in Latin America,the Middle East an Asia,during crucial moments of social and political change.This exhibition hall i prefer these two art works.One of is i didn't remember the artist name, but i like his(her) work.Artist recorded these abandoned buildings.And then sculpt

its shape on the foam.The foam is  a kind of material which is very easily destroyed.Give me sense of frail.In the course of history everything will be destoryed easily.But i think this art work is a little bit repeation.Just show us one form(foam sculpture) would be better.

























This art work is interesting.It is a map of contients.but artist made it different way that change the concept cretively .From the work of artist,the boundary is refineded.Subverting our thinking of objective truth.

These two works in the exhibition hall near by the temple.These are my favorite art works.   All the two works are installation art.One of is something like  dumbbells.There is an impression of the hand on it,a little bit dilapidated.like gotten through many struggles.Remind me of i was doing exercise in health club.Keep challenging and struggle with myself.

Another art work is kind of glass and stone get together.Glass is breakable and stone is hard,different materials but get together harmoniously. Simple installation but  give me sense of human and human,human and world.The best condition is harmonious.
