GWANGJU BIENNALE2018 IMAGINED BORDERS

       I went to GWANGJU BIENNALE2018 Exhibition.And i saw many great works.First day we went to the exhibition which theme is “imagined borders”.This exhibition explores the intersection of modernism,architecture and nation-building in the 1950s-70s in Latin America,the Middle East an Asia,during crucial moments of social and political change.This exhibition hall i prefer these two art works.One of is i didn't remember the artist name, but i like his(her) work.Artist recorded these abandoned buildings.And then sculpt its shape on the foam.The foam is  a kind of material which is very easily destroyed.Give me sense of frail.In the course of history everything will be destoryed easily.But i think this art work is a little bit repeation.Just show us one form(foam sculpture) would be better. This art work is interesting.It is a map of contients.but artist made it different way that change the concept cretively .From the work of artist,the boundary is refineded.Subverting our thin

BAHC YISO SOLO EXHIBITION

      Last time i went to the MMCA to visited the Bahc Yiso's solo exhibition.Bahc Yiso is a Korean artist.This exhibition was exhibited Bahc Yiso's art works  at different period in his whole life.Including drawing, painting,installitions,videos,sounds,music etc.And this exhibition aims to trace the part of Korean art history by spotlighting an artist who has played a moment role in the development of Korean contemporary art.      The exhibition has two axes that intersect. One is a visual representation of a chronology of Bahc’s artistic life. It reconstructs over 20 years of his New York and Seoul periods.      The other axis, cutting across the first, has three layers. The artist’s notes which served as the seed of his art are at the heart of the exhibition like a platform. In the second phase, visitors are introduced to archives including drawings. The last phase presents actual works by Bahc. This construction of multiple layers offers the viewer a rare opportunity to w
